EMILY STRASSHEIM
HELLO!
My name is Emily Strassheim (she/her/hers). I am a singer, actor, dancer, and musician born and raised in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. I grew up walking to my neighbor's house for piano lessons. It wasn't until I was ten years old when I saw a high school production of Fiddler on the Roof that made me fall in love with the idea of being on stage instead of behind the piano. I made my theatrical debut as Little Orphan Annie at a community theatre and never looked back!

I received my BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Performing Arts Management from The Hartt School in May 2022. When I am not onstage, you can find me reading a book, drinking an overpriced coffee, or sitting at the piano channeling my inner Carole King.

color guard!
After falling in love with color guard in high school, I am so excited to be back on the field as Director of the Point Pleasant Borough High School Color Guard! I spent my summer choreographing and teaching my team a half-time show, and now we are spending the fall competing across the state.

Come make music with me! You can find me as an instructor at Clarizio Music Center. I teach voice and piano lessons to kids of all ages. I have always loved passing on my love of music to kids, so this is the most rewarding job!
